Maysan General Hospital is a distinguished medical institution aimed at serving the community of Maysan. It spans an area of 1,684 square meters and was established in 2024 under the authorization of the Iraqi Ministry of Health in Iraq/Maysan Governorate, with a capacity of 50 beds, six surgical operating rooms, exceptional hotel-like services, and an ambulance equipped with the latest medical devices. The hospital provides medical services adhering to the highest quality standards and the best prices, under the supervision of leading consultants and qualified staff to monitor patients and meet the needs of the Maysan community in particular and Iraq in general. It is the first in the governorate to offer a capsule system for operating rooms, in collaboration with Memorial Hospital in Turkey, to provide comprehensive care for patients, helping them reduce the costs of travel and treatment abroad while delivering the best possible service. Additionally, the hospital operates internally through a modern electronic system (HIS), which facilitates patient movement within the hospital, reduces paperwork, and saves time and effort in accordance with the Prime Minister's directives to simplify procedures for citizens and digitize all services provided to them.
